Who We Are

The Harborview Herald operates this public job board using the recruitlayer platform.

02

Information We Collect

We collect application data you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, resume, attachments, and answers; messages and support requests; cookie choices; and, when requested, SMS consent choices including the entities and message categories you selected.

We also collect technical and usage data needed to operate, secure, and measure the board, including IP address, browser, device, pages visited, and campaign attribution.

03

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the board, process applications, provide support, secure and measure the service, comply with law, and deliver communications you authorized.

04

How We Share Information

When you apply to a job, we share your application with the Participating Employer that posted the role. After receipt, that employer’s own privacy practices govern its use.

We also share data with service providers that host, secure, analyze, or deliver messages for the platform, when law requires it, or in a legitimate corporate transaction. We do not sell or share mobile numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

05

Cookies and Tracking

We use strictly necessary storage to provide and secure the service. Analytics and Marketing technologies remain blocked unless you accept them through Cookie Preferences.

06

Data Retention

We retain information while needed to operate the board, process applications, comply with law, and resolve disputes. Consent wording, named entities, timestamps, and opt-out evidence are retained as needed to demonstrate compliance.

07

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction and may withdraw consent for future processing.

08

California Residents

California residents may exercise applicable access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights without discriminatory treatment.

09

EEA, UK and Switzerland

Where applicable, we process information under contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation, or consent and apply safeguards to international transfers.

10

Children’s Privacy

The board is intended for people who are at least 16 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

11

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

12

Third-Party Services

Third-party links, employers, and services maintain their own practices. Review their policies before providing information.

13

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy and will publish the revised version and effective date. Earlier exact consent records continue to control what was accepted at that time.
